We are a new organisation and would like to tell you about our exciting new London wide project. We have secured funding (just under £0.5 million) from the Big Lottery Funds through their “Reaching Communities” scheme. This will now enable us to make our goals become a reality!

There are more details on our website, but the main thing is we are offering FREE training to community/voluntary organisations ALL across London over the next 5 years.

Project Overview
Our new exciting project is the ‘Community Deaf and Interpreter Awareness Development Programme’.

It is a 5 year, 5 strand “Community Cohesion” project based on empowering Deaf people, teaching hearing services about Deafness, BSL, using Sign Language Interpreters and general awareness of what it is like to be a Deaf person.
