TOA exhibition

TOA Exhibition 2009
This year our exhibition was held at Bredbury Hall Hotel & Country Club in Stockport. It was a great success with over 100 attendees from across the United Kingdom who were able to discuss the latest equipment with exhibitors from Geemarc, Medipage, Comfort Audio, HPI, Safe & sound, Connevans, Fire Angel, RNID, Sarabec, Deaf Support Network, Conversor, Clofiled.B.T. We also welcomed Lorraine Braggins from CityLit who was able to tell us the plans for future courses relevant to TOA members who work with Visually and Hearing impaired clients. It is hoped that the next course will start in September/October 2010, but Lorraine will keep us informed and we will pass on all information to members.

• Fantastic venue and very easy to locate.
• Staff at venue very helpful.
• Plenty of new ideas, lots of things to prompt discussion and further investigation, a chance to invite people to regional meetings.
• Great car park.
• Liked the idea of having interpreters available.
• A million thanks to Mandy Saunders for booking the interpreters and allowing us to share.
• The whole day looked as if a massive amount of work and arrangement had gone into it and can`t wait to host again.
• Service user comment(they had special permission to come along) had the opportunity to to a company along with TO and received excellent service very personalized, he was overwhelmed by the help offered.
• Most people who knew Allan from the past hoped he would have been pleased with the money collected for charity.
